Hi, I'm Dr Chloe Buiting.
You might know me better as the Jungle Doctor.
If you had told me years ago that I'd be working with Sir David Attenborough, sitting on conservation boards, speaking on global stages, or even seeing my face on a Times Square billboard, I would have laughed.
Because honestly? I was just a girl from a little island in Australia, a crippling introvert who wasn't top of my class and who faced rejection even getting into vet school. I just knew I wanted to work with wildlife, and I refused to give up.
Like so many others, I thought a veterinary career meant small animal practice, surgery, or maybe zoo work if I was lucky. But vet medicine is so much bigger than I ever imagined.
Today, I wear many hats: wildlife vet, science communicator, conservationist, board director, policy advisor, and now, a mum. From dehorning rhinos in Africa to advising The Earthshot Prize and serving as the youngest board director for Zoos Victoria.
